Fullness of Joy

Dear PC family,

It has been a very interesting week to say the least. Many people were hoping that the craziness of 2020 would come to an end with a new year. That is obviously not the case as 2021 has started with a bang.

But our hope is not placed in the things of this Earth. Psalm 62:1-2 is a great  reminder for us in these turbulent times. " Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I Will never be shaken."

This past Sunday we were reminded that The Battle belongs to the Lord. Jehoshaphat the king sent out his worshipers ahead of his warriors and the enemies were defeated as God commanded. It is a great reminder to us that we need to be in prayer constantly, praising him at all times and in the word which keeps our hearts soft and our minds strong.

Be encouraged by these words found in Psalms 62:8. " Trust in him at all times, you people, pour your hearts out to him, for God is our refuge."

Love and blessings,
Pastor Derek
