Young Adult Car Wash, Hot Dogs, and World Cup “Tailgate Party” — Sunday, July 19, After the Service
Is your car looking a little grimy? After the service our young adults will wash it while you enjoy a hot dog and catch part of the World Cup final game at our PC “Tailgate Party.” This will all take place in the parking lot at the SE corner of 24th Ave. NW and NW 80th St. Proceeds will benefit PC Young Adults. Come support a great cause and enjoy yourself to boot! 
Youth Group, Kids Club, and Adult Class — Wednesday, July 22, 6:30–8 p.m.
Note: Family dinners are on hiatus until the fall.

Kids Club, Youth Group, and our adult class, “The Fruit of the Spirit: Galatians 5 and Beyond,” begin at 6:30.
Annual Church Picnic at Salmon Bay Park — Sunday, July 26, After the Service
Join us for a fun-filled church picnic at Salmon Bay Park (2001 NW Canoe Place, Seattle) on Sunday, July 26, right after the morning service. You can sign up in the foyer on Sunday to bring meats, a side dish, a beverage, or a dessert to share. Be sure to bring a chair. There will be a playground, group games, and lots of fellowship. Invite a friend!

Don’t Lose Heart

The Word of God tells us not to lose heart, for though outwardly we are wasting away, inwardly we are being renewed day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16).

So many things in life tear us down or hold us back from walking in our purpose. Many people quit before their destination is reached, or they allow circumstances to distract them from their focus.

God has given us all we need to be involved in all we do. So let’s remember that inwardly we are being renewed on a daily basis.

Come and join us and be ENCOURAGED in your walk, your decisions, and the part that you can play in helping others find hope in Christ Jesus.

Through the Valley: A story of God’s faithfulness 
Pastor Derek’s life suddenly changed on Christmas morning 2019, when he was admitted to Swedish Hospital and began a harrowing five-year journey that has touched lives all over the world.
In 2024, a small team from Philadelphia Church led by Pastor Derek Forseth and Randall Kollie traveled to Liberia to reconnect with and build upon a rich history of PC missions there that had begun in 1949. During that trip, Randall, with the help of Pastor Derek, founded Empower Young Minds, a nonprofit focused on education for underprivileged children.

Philadelphia Church is a Spirit-filled, Full Gospel, Christian church located in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, WA. We are a part of the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies.
